Serving Children from Birth through Pre-K
The Rock Preschool is more than just a daycare facility; it’s a child’s home away from home. We provide a joyful, faith-centered experience designed to enrich learning and foster social and spiritual development. Our extended hours of 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. give families the flexibility they need.
Students enjoy play-based learning experiences that keep them active and moving throughout the day, indoors and out.
Students participate in hands-on learning experiences that engage their minds through curiosity and a discovery of new things.
Students engage in prosocial learning experiences that develop age-appropriate social skills and promote self-regulation.
Students take part in faith-centered learning experiences that cultivate a love of God and a knowledge of His Word and works.
The Christian faith is at the heart of all we do. Bible lessons, scripture memorization, prayer time, worship songs, and the integration of God into the content of our academic programs are all ways in which we are doing the foundational work of faith formation in the hearts and minds of our young learners. From the earliest age, we want to help them answer the essential questions of Who is God? and Who am I?
Students of The Rock Preschool are well-loved by our staff. This is evidenced by the excitement in our classrooms each day and the joy seen on the faces of each little one. Each child is celebrated for who he or she is and honored as God’s image-bearers. We understand that most of our students have working parents, so while we don’t have mandatory participation, we make a place for parents to be involved to the degree that they are able. Teacher-Parent Conferences, frequent communication, and invitations to special preschool days are all designed to help families stay connected.
Graduates of The Rock Preschool are well-prepared for kindergarten. Academically, they are proficient in word and number literacy and are emerging readers and writers. But just as importantly, they possess the executive functioning skills needed for success in the K-12 system. Self-regulation, working memory, and collaboration are just a few of the social skills students develop in our preschool program.
We invite you to schedule an Educational Consultation with our Preschool Director to learn more about what we do, meet our staff, visit our classrooms, and discover why our parents love The Rock Preschool.
The vision of The Rock School is to make disciples of Jesus who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to courageously cooperate with God in the work of redeeming the world.
