Open Enrollment

The Open Enrollment period for the 2024-2025 school year has begun!

All current students in Preschool through 11th grade are under continuous enrollment. Here’s what that means:

How much is tuition next year?
Watch this 20 minute recording of the Town Hall meeting or review the slides to hear details from Mrs. Heise.

Is there financial assistance available?
Yes! Financial assistance is awarded to K-12 families on a year-by-year basis, and must be applied for annually. The amount available for 2024-2025 has increased to match the new tuition rates.

Current families requesting financial assistance for the 2024-2025 school year must submit an application at therock.school/facts (click on the ‘start an application’ button under the Grant & Aid section of the home page) before December 1. There is a $40 application fee due to FACTS at the time of submission. You will receive a decision notice from TRS before the January 15 withdrawal deadline.

How do I select a new payment plan?
Current payment plan options will roll over to the 2024-2025 school year. Any changes to your plan options will need to be made by the school. Contact sandra.gonzalez@therock.school before July 1. If you need to make changes to your payment method/financial account information, please log in to therock.school/facts to do so.

What if I need more time to decide?
Demand for admissions is unprecedented, and we are currently at full capacity. The only new openings (including for siblings) will be from those vacated by current students and the graduating senior class.

Therefore, The Rock School is no longer able to “hold seats” pending without contractual obligations. If you need more time to decide after January 15, that’s fine but it comes with a contract cancellation fee according to your enrollment contract.

What are the contract cancellation fees and deadlines?

  • Between Nov 1 and Jan 15 – no fee
  • Between Jan 16 and Apr 15 – 10% of annual tuition ($1,400)
  • Between Apr 16 and Jul 15 – 25% of annual tuition ($3,500)
  • Between Jul 16 and Sep 15 – 50% of annual tuition ($7,000)
  • After Sep 15 – 100% of annual tuition ($14,000)

All contract cancellation fees are calculated based on the full amount of annual tuition, regardless of scholarship/financial assistance status.

How do I renew my Step Up for Students scholarship/voucher?
Scholarships awarded by Step Up for Students (and AAA) are once-in-always-in. However, families do have to submit an Intent to Continue annually. This renewal period typically opens in the spring. Look for emails from Step Up for Students with more information.

How do I get my other children enrolled?
Siblings are given priority, but enrollment is not guaranteed. Follow the sibling application guide.

The Early Application Window for siblings is November 1 – December 1. Sibling applications submitted at this time will be given first priority for open seats that become available after the January 15 withdrawal deadline. We strongly encourage you to apply early as seats are very limited and won’t be known until withdrawals are submitted by current students.
